Let’s Get Acquainted!
Susan Harrison
Hi, my name is Susan Harrison (formerly Susan Armstrong). I wake up each morning feeling blessed to do what I love for a living. My work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist allows me to work collaboratively with my clients as they embark on a journey of healing and transformation. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of meaningful work together. I welcome the client into a space that is supportive, compassionate, comfortable, and non-judgmental. I love working with couples as they work to improve their relationships and I appreciate the opportunity to help individuals and families as they navigate the various seasons of life.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist helping individuals, couples, and families in my private practice in Sacramento, California. I offer my own life experience to the counseling relationship. I have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Apart from spending time with family and friends, I love to travel and explore new places.
I am an empathetic and caring client-centered therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
